讲座:  Current Digital Camera Fingerprint-Achievements and Challenges

演讲者: Dr. Miroslav Goljan

演讲者简介：Miroslav Goljan received the M.S. degree in mathematical informatics from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, in 1984 and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Binghamton University, State University of New York, in 2002. He is a Research Scientist in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Binghamton University. His research interest includes steganography and steganalysis, reversible data hiding, digital media authentication, and digital image forensics. He has published many research papers in this field and holds four U.S. patents.

讲座摘要：In this talk, we present the main elements of camera identification in the framework of hypotheses testing and discuss challenges posted by upcoming era of computational photography. Very much like a human fingerprint can be lifted from a surface the human hand touches and matched to the individual person, an image from today¢s digital camera contains a camera “fingerprint” that can be extracted from the image and match to the individual camera. New challenges arise for researchers in developing efficient ways to overcome obstacles and make camera fingerprints even more universal forensic tool.
