演讲者简介：

Dr Richard Yi Da Xu is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of School @ School of Computing and Communications, University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Australia. He has been research active in computer vision, image processing and pattern recognition since 2002. His recent focuses has been in the underlying machine learning algorithms, particularly in the field of Non-parametric Bayes, and its monte-carlo inference method. He has published more than 30 international refereed publications.

讲座摘要：

In this talk, I will begin discussing relational data learning in general. I will also be going through a tutorial on non-parametric Bayes, including Dirichlet Process, Hierarchal Dirichlet Process, HDP-Hidden Markov Model and Indian Buffet Process. I will also introduce some of the state-of-the-art in the area of non-parametric relational learning. Of course, our own work in this area will be presented as well.
